Prospective transfer students often feel embarrassed. They worry about poor grades received at a prior institution, that leaving their current school may look like a failure, or that they shouldn’t attend ‘too many’ schools in pursuit of a degree.
The fact is about 30% of students leave their selected college within the first year. This does not mean that you can’t or won’t receive a degree. There are many reasons why students drop out in their first year and academic struggles is just one of them.
